Absolutely fabulous vintage Napier mottled green glass bikini belt. The piece can be worn creatively either as a necklace or a belt. It features five plaques surmounted by green and turquoise-colored cabochons suspending four coordinating beads. These are extremely rare and were made in very limited quantities. Sometimes this “stone” is called Peking Glass, but that is an incorrect term.

The Napier bikini belts were fabulous in design, utilizing interesting filigrees, stones, and chain. Measures 38″ tl. This Napier bikini belt dragon’s breath cabochons and foiled art glass bead design is one of the most rare and coveted Napier Bikini belts ever manufactured by Napier. The design consists of large filigree plaques surmounted by fiery cabochons suspending three foiled art glass drops. Each plaque is flanked by a three chain swag. This is the work of renown designer Eugene Bertolli.May be worn also as a necklace. Perhaps with off-the-shoulder styling.
